About

Charlene Jourdan

Charlene attended the New York College for Wholistic Health, Education and Research in New York (her state of origin) graduating in 1999, obtained her New York State license in 2000 and her Colorado State license in 2010.  Within months of obtaining her license, she began working in medically therapeutic environments.  Her desire to help people work toward living free from pain motivates her to treat meticulously and with compassion.  She looks to the cause and effect of the pain and dysfunction to reduce the issues and restore better function, while listening to the patient’s body to find what lies underneath the pain.

Her previous career as a legal secretary was very frustrating.  Though she was fortunate to work for some wonderful attorneys, the job itself was too stressful and left her looking for something different to fulfill the need for peace in her life.  Massage therapy provided that path and she has been very happy ever since!

She has become an advocate in patient education regarding the issues associated with celiac disease and the gluten-free lifestyle and knows many ways to deal with the changes it requires.  Her major symptom and drive to find healing was derived from suffering several kidney stone attacks, a lesser known symptom.  Though she and others like her are not free from the disease, they can live more comfortably and happily.
